We’re thrilled to welcome back celebrated historian and bestselling author Grantlee Kieza OAM to Barwon Heads to present his latest book: Annette Kellerman, Australian Mermaid.

In this new book, Grantlee shares the extraordinary life of Annette Kellerman - a trailblazing swimming champion who broke every mould to become Australia's first Hollywood superstar.

Grantlee is an award-winning journalist and has received the Medal of the Order of Australia for his writing. He is a Walkley Award finalist and the author of more than twenty acclaimed books, including bestsellers Sister Viv, Flinders, Mr & Mrs Gould, Hudson Fysh, The Kelly Hunters, Lawson, Banks, Banjo and The Remarkable Mrs Reiby.

Grantlee’s books will be available to purchase on the afternoon, with book signings to follow the talk.
